1. Choose your copper

Heavy Gauge Patina Copper Sheets

Heavy gauge (24 gauge) is our recommendation for range hoods. It holds its shape on angled and vertical faces, and sizes up to 4'x10' let you cover most hood fronts without a seam.

  • 29 hand-applied patina finishes, plus raw copper
  • Cuts with metal shears or a grinder with a thin blade
  • Installs with contact cement or liquid nails
  • Satin lacquer standard; matte or no lacquer available
  • Ships rolled; ready in 7–10 business days

2. Finish the look

Hoods have lots of corners and edges. Edge trim in the same finish covers them for a clean, finished look. Available in lengths from 18" to 84".

Planning your range hood

  • Measure each face of the hood (front and sides) separately, then use the Copper Buying Guide calculator to see exactly which sheet sizes to order.
  • Plan your seams to fall on corners or behind trim wherever possible.
  • Add trim for every outside corner and bottom edge.
  • Pair it with a backsplash in the same finish. See our backsplash guide.

Shipping: Most orders ship rolled for protection. Large or commercial orders can ship flat in a custom-built crate. Call us to arrange.
